My core skillset is on SAP PI & ABAP. Now given a task on integrating Hybris with SAP via PI/PO, i had read through couple of documentations which says the SAP recommendation is using DATA HUB rather than using PI and also given the fact DATAHUB comes with pre-delivered contents for prices, orders, master data etc.....yet i do not see those are standard docs and hence posting my questions seeking help/advise on:
1. Is DATAHUB mandatory to integrate SAP PI and Hybris?
2. Can integration done without SAP PI i.e. conecting ECC and HYBRIS?
3. How does PI impact the performance of the integration connecting hybris and SAP ECC?
4. Any documentation on the process to establish the connection of hybris with SAP ECC using combination of PI and databub or just PI alone?
