Hi All,
I am a SAP Portal Consultant, have worked on SAP Portal, Webdynpro Java for the past 7 years.
I know Webdynpro Java has no future and i am at cross roads really.
In my 7years of experience as SAP Portal consultant, i have gained some basic knowledge(nothing substantial) in functional areas such as HR, Finance.
I am very interested in becoming a EWM functional consultant, but dont know where/how to start and im thinking about taking up certification(Associate Level) as a starting point.
I know i can read a load of stuff on SDN, SAP Help, but mere theoretical knowledge doesnt add up much without Hands on Experience; and in my current role, i dont have any opportunity to work on SAP EWM.
Is my approach correct. I know it is not logical, having 7years experience in portal and thinking of certification in SAP EWM!!!!!
But can i take up certification in SAP EWM without any EWM experience?
Hope you can guide me based on your experiences.
